Tattooing from this realm into the next

PAST & PRESENT

THE OLD HAUNTED
HISTORY

The Old Haunt Tattoo Studio is located on the top floor of the Historic Henry Drum House in Tacoma, Wa. Built in 1888 by the 5th mayor of Tacoma, Henry Drum. He would also serve as a Washington State Senator and Warden of Walla Walla State Prison before passing away in March of 1950.

Over the past 138+ years, three known souls have passed on to the next realm within this house. Whispers in the stairwell. Unexplainable bangs and booms. The occasional smell of wet Earth. These are not uncommon in the Historic Henry Drum House.

What was that noise? Is it chilly in here?

The house was a private residence for over a century; from 1888 until 2002, when it was renovated. In 1977 it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places primarily due to its original owner and tenant, Henry Drum, but also for its architectural and structural significance.

These days the Henry Drum House is a commercial building featuring several small businesses including massage therapists, mental health professionals, and most recently, The Old Haunt Tattoo studio.

Located in the Stadium District of Tacoma, there is a small, attached parking lot as well as free street parking.

THE OLD HAUNT TATTOO STUDIO

While the house itself is rich in history, so too is The Old Haunt Tattoo Studio. Many curiosities and oddities lurk around every corner. An old, wooden coffin from the 1880's, as well as some other Odd Fellows items from the same period. A dinosaur bust from an original Jurassic Park animatronic named Ziggy, now the shop bluetooth speaker. A fortune teller should you dare to have him read your fate. Also featuring a retro-gaming area, snack bar, and vintage tattoo magazines to keep guests entertained. Every item within these walls has a story.

This tattoo studio is not for everyone, but all are welcome!
